Why does blended CAC automatically drop?
Blended CAC is the weighted average across channels. When you add a channel whose cost per customer is, in our model, far lower than Meta's (cashback + commission, proportional to sales generated), the weighted average mechanically drops. The simulator assumes 30% of your new customers come from referral and 70% from Meta.
Does the calculator account for incrementality?
Yes. We weight referred revenue by a 73% incrementality rate (a model assumption), because not all referred revenue is 'new' — some would have come through another channel. The net result removes this non-incremental portion.
Where do the assumptions come from?
